Khan's muscular arm stretched out welcomingly beside him, and I grinningly nuzzled my curly head into the inward crook of his elbow. He smirked softly, and we both watched as a white butterfly, fluttered through the willows, higher and higher into the cloudless blue, sunshine sky.
"We're all butterflies, aren't we?" I said softly, my heart taking wing with the lovely floating creature. "Here today, gone tomorrow, our lives as fleeting as the next summer breeze but even still we fly carefree..... We live all we can in what short time we're allowed."

Greetings to my beautiful, beloved readers! I just wanted to thank you all so much for your continued interest, and patience, while I pen the exciting upcoming chapters of Prisoner of Vengeance!!!! I want to assure you, that I'm hard at work writing, and that things are going rather swimmingly! I've decided to write Part 7, Perennial Descent first, as it will naturally be the longer chapter, and then trek backwards for Part 6, Black Crystal. Therefore, when posted, you'll have two chapters to read at once instead of just one. After what I've written so far, I'm thrilled beyond belief, and I think you'll agree that both were worth the wait! ;)
